Welcome to my website. It is an introduction to the service I can offer you in your time of need.

Psychotherapy helps a person create a more meaningful and fulfilling life by growing in self-belief and self-acceptance, which emerges from working through thoughts and feelings. It is a journey of self-exploration, and discovery of inner resources, where an individual connects deeper within him or herself and is able to communicate more fully with others.

I have been working as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist for 23 years. I am an Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I work with children, teenagers and adults in areas such as: Addiction, Anger, Anxiety, Bereavement, Bullying, Cancer recovery, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Cultural issues, Dementia, Depression, Drugs, Eating disorders, Fear and phobias, Lack of meaning in life, Low self-esteem, Pain management and Relationship difficulties.

In my practice I have been able to get positive results for self referral clients as well as patients with medical insurance cover through private clinics for mental health treatments.

ADULTS – Some of these conditions were Trichotillomania (pulling of Hair), Esophageal Dysphagia (Difficulty to swallow), Severe stomach pains, Thanatophobia (fear and anxiety of death) and Necrophobia (fear of death and dying of other people), Fear of driving, Managing Cancer fears, survivors of many suicide attempts and many patients who suffer from Anxiety and Depression . I have successfully treated clients who were signed off work due to stress caused by workplace bullying.

YOUNG ADULTS – I have experience in helping teenagers under social services care to resolve their issues with parents.

CHILDREN – Suffering from emotional distress due to parents separating, having pain in head and stomach causing school refusal due to bullying and low self esteem.

Through counselling they were able to change their negative behaviours, thoughts and feelings that resulted in finding hope, healing and support in their daily lives.
